Mark has now painted most rooms in my house and I won’t think twice about getting him in to do the rest. He’s patient, flexible and gives great results . I’d thoroughly recommend him!
Mark is a very versatile handyman, completely trustworthy and reliable and he will tell you straight away if something is not his skillset (e.g tiling) but pretty much anything else he can do from repairs to decorating and he is always looking for the simplest, and most cost-effective solution for you. I cannot recommend him more highly.

I second Alexandra’s recommendation for the amazing job he did for us recently. Mark was not happy until we were, and came back after the job was over to give the front door one more coat as he wasn’t happy with it. He was also on time and on budget. A success on all fronts!

Mark is a great local handyman contact to have for that growing list of things that need doing around the home. He is very professional, cares about his work and has competitive rates. We have had two painter decorators in our home recently, one did the interiors and some outside railings but after helping us with some small home improvements Mark redecorated the hall, stairs and landing. The difference between the two different processes and final results was remarkable and we will be keeping Mark’s details for any future work. He has helped us and our neighbours deal with many small and large tasks in a hassle free way. We only wish we had found him sooner! Can not recommend him enough.

Having fixed my kitchen window which had dislodged in the recent storm Mark has spent one and a half days on a number of tasks including water blitzing my external basement area and steps, painting a wall and cupboard with black carbon paint (to protect from electro magnetic interference) before repainting with normal paint, painting and attaching handles to my sash windows so as to ease opening, clearing my kitchen drain, and sorting and advising on paint for his next job here in a few weeks time. As always Mark’s knowledge, skill and workmanship was excellent and I will continue to use him in future.

Mark recently decorated my house top to bottom. Everything was completed to schedule, to a very high standard and at a competitive price. He made good a number of old battered areas and everything looks fantastic now. Mark is really professional, courteous and considerate. I thoroughly recommend him!

I am so pleased with Mark’s work. I had been a bit worried beforehand as I had just had a bad experience of a handyman. I needn’t have been concerned. Mark carried out his work to a very high standard, with care and attention to detail. He did various odd jobs for me and I was impressed by the range of tasks he was knowledgeable about and could take on confidently: from problem solving why my down lighting was not working (he sorted out the transformers), to putting up a velux blind in an awkward position, repairing an exterior window sill, and painting a sash window beautifully. He also sorted out a dressing table drawer that was sticking so that now it opens and closes smoothly.
Mark gives careful thought to the job in hand – for example considering which type of paint might be best for a particular situation.
He is reliable, trustworthy (I gave him my keys and left him in my flat while I had to go to work), and a true professional. I will definitely get him to do more work for me.
Izzy, his dog, is an added bonus to have around if, like me, you like dogs.
A word of warning: you may have to wait some time for Mark to fit you in his busy schedule. He’s worth the wait!

Mark has yet again done exceptional work for us including repairing two outside window frames that now look like new. As ever with Mark he doesn’t just do the job in hand, in this instance repainting our bathroom, but addresses any other issues he encounters such as repairing the plug stopper so it actually works and replacing the sealant around the sink. Apart from being an exceptional worker he’s also charming, polite and very very tidy. We happily entrusted him with a set of keys and an added pleasure was the company of Izzy. Yes, he’s always booked up but is more than worth the wait. We have used him on a number of occasions in the past and will continue to do so.

Mark is attentive, thoughtful and kind. He did a great careful job painting our hall, banisters and stairs over 3 floors and he even managed to fit in some other unexpected jobs along the way…. I will be getting him back to help with other rooms as he’s so reliable and great and it’s hard to find handymen who are of his calibre.
